JobMatcha® was the brainchild of Jan Post, founder of the RIFT Group, a keen advocate of worker rights and a committed champion of small businesses.
It all started in 2021 when her team, drawn from the construction sector, technology and recruitment disciplines, started to consult with industry bodies, clients and candidates. They soon discovered a Labour supply chain that was rife with complexity, risk and poor practice. The team, therefore, set out the create an platftom that would give agency to workers, empoering the lowest tiers of operative, whilst also serving a suite of tools to clients to mitigate risk and help deliver on Social Value.
The Platform
The platform that we built, for which we own the IP, is a simpl yet powerful collaboration portal that connects local workers to local opportunities, whilst helping employers meet their compliance and social value obligations.
Candidates use a free app to create a secure, “digital wallet” in the cloud, where they store their credentials and identity documents. Prospective employers load their vacant roles into JobMatcha®, knowing that candidates on the platform have proved their identity and hold credentials for the various competencies that they claim to have. Our algorithms match local workers to roles, reducing carbon footprint and creating efficiency in the supply chain.
Fast forward to 2025 and JobMatcha is a leading supplier of labour to multiple sectors.
