Job Description

Direct incoming traffic onto the site and operate the weighbridge system.
Inspect incoming loads to ensure they meet the site license and permitted waste types. Immediately report any contamination or non-conforming waste to the relevant manager.
Familiarise yourself with the operating system for weighbridge tasks. Record weights and waste types accurately, process delivery notes and collect driver signatures.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately, including Annex vii, waste transfer notes, delivery notes and waste reports.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and site visitors, addressing queries in person, via phone, or email. Ensure customers are aware of site rules and provide guidance as required.
Assist with general administrative duties, including answering calls, managing paperwork, and providing customer service.
Report health and safety concerns immediately, comply with policies, and ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the site, plant and equipment to a high standard.
Undertake any training / instruction required to carry out these duties and or deemed necessary to fulfil the role.
General Tasks: Perform other reasonable duties as required within the scope of the role.
