Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our very busy, Sainsbury's team at our site in Northampton. This is a multi-temperature site spanning ambient, produce, and chilled environments and an operation that's constantly evolving. As part of this, we're currently introducing a cutting-edge way of working within our ambient operation, including the implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation and help shape the future of how we operate.
This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 days from 7, 14:00 till 22:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £35,962.00 per annum plus a £2340.00 shift premium per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- Lead your team to deliver the daily operational plan safely, on time, and within budget
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
- Support and embed new ways of working, including the integration of automation and AMR technology
- Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and strong communication
- Oversee training and development, ensuring your team has the tools to succeed
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience leading a large team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (food sector experience is a bonus)
- A passion for continuous improvement and openness to innovation and automation
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate at all levels
