We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent, Warehouse Operative to join us at our night team in Northampton (NN4), supporting our customer, Sainsbury's.

 

From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders, you could be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations. This role is based in the ambient and chilled chamber, therefore flexibility to cover both chamber is required.

 

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an any 5 days out of 7' pattern, on night shift covering the hours of 22:00 to 06:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:

 

  • Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets, in accordance with the debit picking procedures
  • Complete operational documents appropriately and in a timely manner while maintaining agreed performance and quality standards
  • Conduct tasks and activities in line with health and safety and food hygiene practices and procedures
  • Operate MHE equipment where required - full training provided!

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Willingness to work in a chilled environment
  • Previous experience in a similar position desirable
  • Flexibility and a can do', right first time and passionate approach
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing
