Warehouse Operative

Job Description

Our client requires 2 or 3 Warehouse Operative staff to support some internal works at their depot in the Ardwick area. The successful Warehouse Operative will be required to move stock, empty deliveries and put stock away on shelving.

We envision the Warehouse Operative exercise will last around 2 or 3 weeks dependant on the progress. However, this could extend for any Warehouse Operative that is reliable, punctual shows initiative.

Warehouse Operative will be required to work Monday to Friday, 0800am to 1630.

Successful Warehouse Operative must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be flexible to working overtime and take pride in delivering a first-class service.
The role will involve Packing/Picking, stock rotation, breaking down deliveries and putting the stock away in correct locations within the warehouse over an 8 hour shift (overtime paid after 8-hours)
Warehouse Operative should be able to work with and contribute as part of a team, ensure ALL products are correctly picked as ordered by customers and perform other duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager.

Benefits

40 hours PW guaranteed on a desirable shift pattern, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm

£11.45 per hour (That's £12.85 per hour PAYE with holiday pay included and paid up front)

This role offers an attractive 40 hour per week pay of around £460 (£516 including holiday pay) for the successful Warehouse Operative.

Successful candidate will have the opportunity to turn this role into a permanent position for themselves.
