What You'll Do:
- Plan and Coordinate Transport Operations: Use your expertise to schedule routes, allocate resources, and ensure efficient delivery of goods.
- Work with Transport Management Software: Experience with planning and scheduling software is essential to streamline operations and maintain accuracy.
- Driver Management: Supervise and support drivers, ensuring they comply with legal and company standards.
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively handle any logistical challenges to keep operations running smoothly.
- Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide top-notch service and resolve issues promptly.
- Shunting Duties: Perform HGV Class 1 shunting between two nearby sites, when required.
