GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven Transport Coordinator to join us on at our Virgin Media contract in Wellingborough. Here you will lead a shift of team leaders, clerks and drivers by giving direction and monitoring performance, to ensure that the department operates efficiently and effectively in providing a quality service.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working flexible Monday to Friday shifts, including from 06:00 - 14:00, 08:00 - 16:00, and 14:00 - 22:00. Flexibility is a must, as shifts will be determined based on business needs - ideal for those seeking a dynamic work environment!

You'll be paid a salary of up to £29,000.00 per annum. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Day to day, you will deal with all driver related issues, ensuring all Transport legislation is adhered to.
- Support the operation across AM, PM and Day shifts
- Effectively support the Transport Shift Manager to ensure KPIs are reported and delivered in line with targets
- Liaising with drivers to ensure smooth movement of goods
- Support transport compliance with the ability to support Transport Planning as and when required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- You will have administrative experience working within a large and fast paced transport environment
- You will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills, to champion a can-do attitude
- Excellent transport knowledge including route planning, knowledge of driver hour rules and vehicle/transport legislation
- Computer literate (strong Excel, Word & Email)
- Ideally an International CPC holder
