Purpose of the role:

We are searching for a Supplier Performance Manager who will be instrumental in developing and implementing a performance programme across for our chosen supplier/s. You will be responsible for measuring and managing supplier needs, wants and data across multiple metrics, including operational efficiencies, product quality and sustainable practices. You’ll collaborate closely with supplier/s to ensure that our logistic network is able to deliver the best services to our customers, and benefits are realised for both parties. The role will require interaction with multiple teams across the business to share that information and to support the making of long-term strategic decisions. 

This role can be based at any of the below locations however travel to London will be required:

London, Bristol or Glasgow

About the role

In this role, you will contribute to the creation and implementation of a supplier performance management program. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and refine evaluation criteria, ensuring they align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include assessing current and potential supplier/s against these criteria, maintaining regular engagement with supplier/s to review performance and foster strong relationships, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreed metrics. You will also work closely with internal teams to set goals, manage supplier relationships, and support commercial outcomes. Additionally, you will develop and oversee improvement plans for supplier/s, reporting progress to stakeholders, and act as the escalation point for addressing any underperformance issues.

About you

You have a solid background in FMCG performance management and are skilled in using Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. You're proficient in Excel and have experience working with ERP systems like JDE and Netsuite. Additionally, you're familiar with maintaining online supplier management portals, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
