Are you an experienced Stores Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance certificate? Our client, a leading Fabrication Specialist based in Sandbach, Cheshire, is looking to recruit a Stores Operative to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and sorting steel parts in a busy fabrication environment.
- Organising and managing stock within the stores area.
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) for material handling.
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed within the warehouse.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting in stock audits.
Requirements:
- FLT Counterbalance certificate is a must.
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, preferably in a fabrication environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Thursday: 14:00 to 22:00
- Friday: 12:00 to 18:00
Pay & Benefits:
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Assignment rate of £15.38ph
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
