Are you a passionate and certified Data Analyst? Do you enjoy conducting full lifecycle analyses? If so, we have the perfect job for you!
Here at GXO we are looking for a Stock Data Analyst to join our growing team at this expanding site in Lutterworth. You'll develop analysis and reporting capabilities, monitor performance to identify areas for improvement, and report directly to the Stock Manager.
The site is currently embarking on an exciting journey as it supports Primark with the roll out to all UK stores of the Click & Collect offering alongside the implementation of a large-scale AMR operation.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday during office hours. However, as this is a site-based role, flexibility is essential-this is logistics, after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, private medical & dental insurance, a 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programme. You'll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!
What you'll do on a typical day:
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators such as order accuracy, inventory levels and shipment times
Collect, interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Ensure a complete and exceptional service is provided to the customer and lead activities to achieve business goals; through focussing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven working experience handling data e.g. Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst roles
Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and BI tools (Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Rebus etc.), databases (Oracle, DB2, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
