Job Summary:
Tom White Waste is looking for a dependable Sort Line Operative to join our recycling team at our Coventry site. This role is essential to our commitment to sustainable waste management, supporting the effective sorting and processing of recyclable materials.
Key Responsibilities:

Sort recyclable materials by hand on a conveyor belt

Remove non-recyclable or contaminated items

Ensure materials are correctly categorized (e.g., paper, plastics, metals)

Follow all site safety and operational procedures

Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions promptly

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically active role

Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices

Able to stand for extended periods and work in an industrial environment

Team player with good communication skills

Experience in waste or recycling environments is beneficial but not essential — full training provided
Working Hours & Pay:
