About Our Opportunity:

As a Separation Maintenance Fitter, you will use and build upon your solid foundation of knowledge and expertise of plant maintenance and repair. You will be supported with training and development along the way so that you can expand your skills and responsibilities further.

This exciting opportunity means joining a team of 15 maintenance engineers, working in a heavy industry environment, with the aim of improving plant reliability on a state of the art material handling facility. You will be responsible for plant maintenance on equipment including but not limited to: trommels, conveyors, vibrating screens, separation and wash drums, silos, fans, pumps, shredders and mobile plant. Systems of work include mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience working on these systems and equipment would be beneficial.

This opportunity will be working 3 shift rotation of 42.2 hours per week working, mornings, afternoons and nights.

Mornings: Monday to Wednesday 6.00-16.30, Thursday 6.00-14.30.
Afternoons: Monday to Wednesday 14.-00-0.30, Thursday 14.00-22.30.
Nights: Sunday 18.00-6.30, Monday to Thursday 22.00-6.30

What You Will Be Doing:
• ​Our maintenance team members are significant to our depots, without their knowledge and experience in reactive and planned maintenance production uptime will decrease, resulting in costly downtime.
• You could be performing a range of mechanical activities to ensure the plant runs efficiently. Previous experience of working in an industrial/factory environment would be beneficial.

About You:

Ideally, you will have worked on heavy machinery and plant - pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, conveyor systems, shredders, motors, 3 phase system and power supply. If you've got experience working as an engineer/fitter and have a suitable qualification as a mechanical fitter, please apply for this role. Level 3 or equivalent would be beneficial.
