Senior Sales Executive, Construction (177lw) – Remote - £35,000 - £45,000 + Double OTE (Uncapped commission) + Car

Job Purpose

This is a key position, requiring the drive to significantly contribute to the company’s turnover and profile. The successful candidate needs to be able to ‘hold their own’ in senior customer/client meetings and presentations.  The detailed Role Profile can be shaped according to individual experience and track record.   Sales remit is Nationwide, predominantly Home Counties.

Responsibilities

·         Manage an allocated sales territory, utilising existing contacts and developing new business opportunities.

·         Carry out contract negotiations and conclude contracts with customers

·         Develop and maintain strong customer relationships

·         Represent our client at events, exhibitions, networking opportunities

·         Travel to project sites and meet with clients

Your Profile  

·         You either have (i) sales experience and a track record of successful sales, preferably in the construction industry OR (ii) a confident, ‘can do’ & positive attitude, with experience in dealing with external customers/stakeholders, high profile connections/contacts & strong interest to pursue a new civilian Sales career.

·         Strong technical understanding (engineering if helpful but not essential) and strong MS Office skills

·         Proactive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial attitude

·         Excellent ability to work in a team and very strong, solution-oriented organisational skills

·         Have the right to work in the UK & Willingness to travel

Advantageous/Desirable skills

·         Proficiency in German (verbal & written)

·         Experience in the Construction industry

·         Connections/Contacts to high profile professionals/high net worth individuals
