Security Guard – Nights – £15.00 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 nights on / 4 nights off
Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Security Guard to join a single-site operation in the Barkston / Ancaster area.
This is a consistent night-shift position offering a regular 4 nights on / 4 nights off pattern, with 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm to 6:00am.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the site.
- Carry out regular security patrols.
- Monitor activity across the site throughout the night.
- Ensure gates, buildings and access points remain secure.
- Record visitors, vehicles and site movements where required.
- Report any suspicious activity, incidents or security concerns.
- Respond appropriately to alarms and incidents.
- Maintain accurate security logs and handover information.
- Liaise with site management when required.
- Follow all site security procedures and instructions.
- Maintain a professional and approachable manner when dealing with employees, visitors and contractors.
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA licence – essential.
- Previous security experience is desirable.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
- Able to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confident dealing with incidents professionally.
- Able to follow site procedures and instructions.
