We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our close-knit, friendly team to help us develop and grow the Sunbelt Rentals business. You’ll have the freedom to manage your account portfolio to drive and deliver results and be at the forefront of customer interaction, acting as our brand ambassador and helping us to be the best in our industry in everything we do.
In this role as a Regional Sales Manager you will commercially develop the business whilst maintaining the Vision and Values of the Sunbelt Rentals UK operation. Your role will be integral to linking together our sales, hire desks & operational teams, ensuring that we are jointly delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to take a first step into a people management position in Sunbelt Rentals - we will provide the training and support to help you to develop your skills as a line manager.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Take the first step into a front line people management position and be responsible for day-to-day performance of regional team members
- Be the vital link between the Utilities hire desks and the sales team – particularly when working on rates and improving the customer journey
- To remain compliant with all QHSE policies at all times, and apply them as necessary to ensure the business remains compliant
- Deliver the agreed Sales Budget for the business and help develop, implement and execute the business units strategy in line with SBR vision and values
- Preparation and implementation of comprehensive sales plans to facilitate achievement and growth
- Mentoring and development of staff to ensure continual improvement through expansion of tailored training courses
- Foster interdepartmental relations to ensure that a collaborative and unified approach exists in the business unit and wider SBR divisions
- Engenders consistency throughout the sales workforce in all business aspects
- Analyses sales management information on financial performance and provides MI reports to the business as required to promote development
- Works closely with Finance to ensure that queries, debtor days and bad debts are kept to a minimum
- Leads and develops department in all aspects to create a high performance culture
- Identifies and contributes to succession planning processes within business
- Increase market share through a measured and sustainable approach.
