Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting for part-time HGV Drivers- Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) to join our agency and work for a variety of our clients around the SK Postcode.
We have work available from Monday through to Friday with start times usually being between 6-8am. The ideal candidate will be looking for 2-3 days work a week and will be flexible with the days and hours you can work but we can work around your availability!
We have various roles such as haulage, flatbed work, day and night work with over 40 customers supplied weekly.
Duties of this HGV Driver includes:
- Driving HGV vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
- Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
- Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
Our HGV Driver must have:
- Cat C Licence (Category C - HGV Class 2 Driver) & CE Licence - HGV Class 1 )
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's
- Must have 6 months relevant driving experience.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
Pay Rates: PAID WEEKLY VIA PAYE Class 1: 15.00- Minimum 8 hours
£20.00 - After 8 hours
Class 2: £14 - Minimum 8 hours
£18.66 - After 8 hours
