Driver Hire Edinburgh West are looking for a reliable and caring Minibus Driver to support a local transport service in Bathgate.
You'll be responsible for safely transporting older passengers between their homes and local day centres. This is a people-focused role where a patient, friendly and professional approach is essential.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers between their homes and local day centres.
- Provide a friendly and respectful service throughout each journey.
- Assist passengers where required.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure the minibus is kept clean, safe and roadworthy.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Working Hours
This is an ad hoc opportunity, meaning hours are not guaranteed.
Typical shifts are:
Morning: approximately 8:00am-10:00am
Afternoon: approximately 2:00pm-4:00pm
Monday to Friday
Shift times may vary depending on the requirements of the service.
Requirements
- Category D1 licence with no 101 restriction
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- PVG Disclosure dated within the last 3 years
- Maximum 6 penalty points - minor offences only
- No CD, DD, DR or IN endorsements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate and professional approach
- Reliable and responsible attitude
Pay
£13.50 per hour
