Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a IT Project Implementation & Support Manager to join our team in Daventry. Day to day, you'll be responsible for systems incident management, overseeing escalations and assisting with the identification and delivery of service support improvement opportunities and programmes.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, predominantly working Monday - Friday, 9 till 5 with some flexibility needed, this is logistics after all.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Coordinate systems upgrades, implementations as required including co-ordinating testing in conjunction with the Systems Team
- Ensure maximum system availability through control and improvement of system activities
- Working with the Central IT Team defining project request scope (including out of scope) & approach
- Delivery of projects and system change requests from an on site position, adhering to the agreed methodology
- Responsible for systems incident management, overseeing escalations and assisting with the identification and delivery of service support improvement

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- High proficiency of JDA to super user level as a minimum
- A strong track record in IT delivery with a broad understanding of everything that goes into running a warehouse IT function
- IT Project management experience, ideally a PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
