We are currently seeking an HR Manager to oversee our two sites in Brighouse and Leeds to lead the design and delivery of a holistic and integrated HR service for the Morrisons Nutmeg sites, with a primary focus on supporting the implementation of a comprehensive People Plan aligned with site and GPO HR objectives.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

 

  • To manage and motivate the HR team to deliver against team and individual objectives
  • Proactive support and advice across the full spectrum of employee relations and employment law, including grievance, discipline, dismissal, TUPE and welfare issues
  • Support the establishment of the required leadership standards and capability at all levels of the business via leadership development; management training; succession planning etc
  • Work with the broader HR Team to collate and review market trends (salaries, working hours, reward and benefits), understand the impact on the business area and propose solutions which are appropriate to the particular needs and circumstances without conflicting with other areas of the BU

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Excellent communicator across several boundaries and the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
  • The ability to effectively manage a team consisting or both direct and indirect reports
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR Policy, practice, employee relations & change management approaches
  • Experience in an HR Advisor specialist role in a fast-paced environment
