Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Lead to join us on a temporary basis for our Coop contract based in Andover. As a HR Lead you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR function providing strategic vision and support in continuingly developing the depot, culture, and the team.

 

This role is available as a fixed-term contract for a duration of up to 12 months, where you will be working a Monday - Friday role, the primary working hours are from 08:00 to 16:30. However, a degree of flexibility is required, with the potential to cover varying shifts from 08:00 to 18:00.

What you'll do on a typical day as a HR Manager:

 

  • Accurately managing HR KPI's on site, to include absence, headcount and other key measurables
  • Lead & develop onsite People agenda
  • Coaching and training Managers and Supervisors on HR matters, process and policies
  • Implementing and maintaining efficient HR processes
  • Continuous Improvement initiatives within the HR department

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • CIPD Qualified or studying towards level 5 or above
  • Adaptable and able to work within a rapidly changing environment
  • Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
  • Previous ER caseload management experience
