We are currently looking to recruit HGV Drivers for 7.5t, class 2 or even HIAB work for a variety of our customers across Hampshire and Surrey. Work may be anywhere in the GU postcode. This includes, Guildford, Woking, Camberley, Aldershot, Alton, Godalming and Petersfield.
You could be driving a variety of vehicles for a range of different clients. You may be doing pallet work, delivering plumbing or electrical supplies to construction sites, or building supplies to a private house.
Work is flexible around you and can be as few or as many days you wish, mostly between a Monday and Friday.
*** Hours, Pay And Benefits ***
- £14.57 - £19.61 per hour (this includes holiday pay) depending on vehicle
- Minimum of 8 hours pay per day.
- Overtime often available
- Flexible working days to suit you. From 1 to 6 days work per week
- Ongoing temporary work
*** Responsibilities Of The HGV Driver ***
- Carry out deliveries in a professional and timely manner
- Perform daily vehicle inspection checks
- Be reliable, polite and friendly and remember good customer service is vital as you are the face of the company
- Be able to plan routes efficiently and have use of a SatNav
- Generally between 5 and 20 drops per day, depending on the job
*** Requirements Of The Temporary HGV Driver ***
- Full UK driving licence with HGV entitlement
- CPC card and digi tacho card
- Have held your licence for over 1 year
- Previous experience with van driving and delivery would be advantageous
- Verifiable work references
