Driver Hire Ashford is recruiting a dependable
Class 1 (Cat C+E) HGV Driver on behalf of a well-established client based in
Pluckley. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced or newly qualified drivers looking for stable, weekday work with regular start times and manageable delivery routes.
Key Requirements:
- Full Cat C+E (Class 1) licence with Digital Tacho & CPC
- Confidence driving a flatbed vehicle (training can be provided)
- Good understanding of load security and safe strapping practices
- Comfortable navigating routes to Greater London (not central) and within Kent
- Based in or able to travel to Pluckley and surrounding areas

The Role:
- Start times between 05:00-06:30, Monday to Friday
- Deliver steel products to commercial sites on the outskirts of London and local areas
- Operate a flatbed HGV with strapping and securing of loads
- Represent both Driver Hire and our customer professionally on the road and at delivery sites
