Driver Hire Edinburgh City is looking for a reliable and motivated Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a reputable local business, operating specialist sweepers across the Edinburgh area.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply - full training provided!
Main Duties:
Operate a left-hand drive Class 2 sweeper (training provided)
Work across public roads and construction sites using specialist equipment
Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow all health and safety procedures
Navigate local routes efficiently and safely
Complete basic paperwork and maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle
What You'll Need:
Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
A safety-focused, detail-oriented approach
A positive, dependable, and proactive attitude
No prior sweeper experience needed - full training given
What's on Offer:
£14.00/hr PAYE (£15.69/hr with holiday pay)
Monday to Friday - enjoy your weekends off
Around 50 hours per week - steady and consistent hours
Temp-to-perm after 12 weeks
