The Role
Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Skip Driver for adhoc, flexible work.
This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexibility, with shifts available as and when required. You will be responsible for delivering, exchanging, and collecting skip containers across Chelmsford, Harlow, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering and collecting skips from residential and commercial sites
- Operating skip lorries safely and efficiently
- Ensuring loads are secure and compliant with regulations
- Providing excellent customer service
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Completing relevant paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous skip driving experience is essential
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
