HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C - Newly Qualified Welcome

Our client based in Okehampton is recruiting a full time permanent HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C driver. They welcome newly qualified HGV/LGV drivers as training is provided. Candidates will need valid DQC and Tacho cards, and have no more than 6 SP penalty points.

Working mainly Monday to Friday starting at 7.00am job till finish. You will work the Saturday after a bank holiday on catch up.

Successful candidates will be collecting domestic waste and / or on kerb side recycling collections.

Drivers will actively work with the loaders, helping to collate the bin bags ready to load on the dustcart and /or to ensure the recycling is put into the correct place on the recycling truck.

Payrates start at £14.50 per hour plus 20 days accrued holiday. Alternately you can choose to have your holiday paid as you earn it, this equates to £14.50 per hour plus £1.75 per hour holiday pay which totals £16.25 per hour  on PAYE Advanced.
