Driver Hire Leeds West are urgently recruiting an experienced
HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a
temp-to-perm position with a well-established client in
Leeds (LS19). Our customer is a well established powder coating company who have been around for over 70 years. This is a great opportunity to join a great company!
- Consistent 40 hours per week

Job Details
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
- Driving an 18T curtainside (manual) vehicle
- Up to 6 deliveries per day (often fewer)
- Routes include: Leeds, York, Doncaster, Elland, Middlesbrough and Manchester
- Assisting with loading and securing the vehicle
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Full CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Confident driving an 18-tonne curtainside vehicle
- Comfortable with manual transmission
- Able to commit to a full-time, 4-day working pattern
- Reliable with good communication
- Maximum 6 points (minor offences only)
- Must be aged 25 or over
Desirable
- Forklift licence
- Experience with loading and unloading
Pay and Benefits
- From £16.14 per hour (holiday pay included)
- Permanent Salary of £30,168.00 after the temp to perm period.
