HGV Class 2 Driver Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
Salary: £15.38 basic - £17.25 advanced holiday pay
Start Date: Immediate Start - ongoing
About the role: We are seeking a reliable and experienced
HGV Class 2 Driver for an ongoing position located in Barnsley. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our high-quality furniture products to a variety of customers, including independent retailers, housing developers, and merchants.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle
- Load, transport, and deliver goods to customers on schedule
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Conduct vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
What we are looking for:
- Valid Class 2 driving license
- Minimum 6 months experience driving a Class 2
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Manual handling of goods
