Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm – 10:30pm

HGV Class 2 Driver – Coventry
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support our client based in Meriden, Coventry.
This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a reliable Class 2 driver looking for consistent afternoon work. The role involves driving refuse collection vehicles between sites and emptying them at the designated facility.
The Role
- Drive HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles between operational sites.
- Empty refuse vehicles at the required location.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Ensure vehicles are operated safely and in line with company procedures.
- Comply with all Road Traffic Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Complete any required paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a professional attitude while representing the company.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and UK driving regulations.
- Ability to work independently.
What We Offer

- Afternoon shift: 1:30pm – 10:30pm.
- Start date: Monday 3rd August.
