We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable
Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our busy operation. If you're looking for regular work, modern equipment, and a straightforward driving role with minimal manual handling, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
- Driving Class 1 articulated vehicles with curtainsider trailers
- Transporting palletised goods
- Collection and delivery work primarily between the Midlands and the South Coast
- Tramping throughout the week with regular overnight stays in the vehicle
- Minimal handball involved, allowing you to focus on the job you do best
Start Times
- Typical start times range between 05:00 and 08:00
- Flexibility is required as start times may vary depending on operational requirements
Pay & Benefits
- £17.00ph PAYE, £19.05ph PAYE Advanced (inc. holiday pay)
- Minimum 8 hours paid per day
- Weekly hours typically range from 45 to 55 hours
- Flat rate pay structure with overtime rarely required
- £26 night out allowance
- Access to a SNAP parking account
- Parking fees and toll charges reimbursed where necessary (receipts required)
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to work
