Driver Hire Lincoln is looking for experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to support our client with general haulage work across Lincolnshire.
Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln
Employment Type: Temporary (ongoing and ad hoc work available)
Start Time: 06:00 daily
Pay & Benefits
- £15.75 per hour for the first 8 hours
- £23.00 per hour for any hours worked over 8 per shift
- Weekly pay every Friday via PAYE
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver goods to a variety of locations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork.
- Maintain clear communication with the transport office and customers.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- Previous general haulage experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules.
