HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver - Ongoing Work


Location: Lincoln
Pay: Up to £18.50 per hour weekdays, with higher weekend rates
Shifts: Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: Weekly via PAYE

Driver Hire Lincoln is currently recruiting dependable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a well-established client based in Lincoln.


This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with immediate starts available, offering straightforward Class 1 work across a mixture of local and nationwide routes.


No handball is required, and the work includes a variety of general haulage and refrigerated runs.


Whether you're looking for regular full-time shifts or additional work to fit around your availability, we'd like to hear from you.



THE ROLE


As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:




  • Completing between 1 and 5 deliveries per day

  • A mixture of general haulage and refrigerated runs

  • Driving across local and nationwide routes

  • No handball

  • Transporting goods safely and efficiently

  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks

  • Completing all required paperwork accurately

  • Communicating effectively with the transport office and relevant parties

  • Following all road safety, legal and operational requirements


PAY



  • Weekdays - up to £18.50 per hour

  • Higher rates available at weekends

  • PAYE engagement

  • Weekly pay


WHAT YOU'LL NEED


To be considered, you will need:




  • Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

  • Valid Driver CPC

  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card

  • No major endorsements and a maximum of 6 penalty points

  • Hi-vis clothing and safety boots

  • A reliable and positive attitude

  • A flexible and professional approach to work
