Driver Hire Leeds West is recruiting an experienced
Class 1 Driver to join our customer based in
Bramley (LS13). This is a
varied role combining Class 1 driving with occasional yard work and general labouring duties.
You'll be working with a
reputable organisation committed to safety, efficiency, and reliability, so professionalism and flexibility are key. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is looking for a role that could lead to
permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 articulated lorries for scheduled deliveries.
- Ensure all jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and secure loads correctly.
- Assist with yard duties and general labouring when required.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and follow company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience.
- Commercial driving experience (steel/heavy haulage preferred).
- Willingness to help in the yard and carry out manual work.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
