Purpose of the Job

Lead the continuous review, development and improvement of cider making processes and brewing to uphold high brand technical equity standards.

About the role

The role involves leading and continuously improving cider-making and brewing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and performance. You will manage and develop the process and technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and coaching to maintain high performance standards. Acting as a site lead on projects related to new product development (NPD), value engineering, and technical contract management, the role also supports lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the individual will contribute to the development and execution of the site's Cider, Beer, and Technical strategy, while managing operational teams to create a collaborative and improvement-driven environment. Responsibilities include contributing to operational planning, providing technical expertise, building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, and supporting project implementation. As a member of the Site Leadership Team and C&C Group Technical Team, the role also contributes to advancing world-class standards across the organisation.


About you 

You have extensive experience in senior technical roles within brewing or cider production, bringing deep expertise in biochemical production processes. Your career is marked by a proven track record of leading transformational change and driving continuous improvement in operations. With significant experience in project management, you also possess a strong commercial and business acumen. You're passionate about staying up-to-date with industry developments and excel at building and nurturing relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
