Role: Handover Manager REF 81598
Contract Length: 18 Months
Location: Hybrid/Aldermaston and Burghfield) – 3 days per week on site
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate

Spinwell is recruiting for a Handover Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HANDOVER MANAGER           

To manage, organize and control Handover activities on a portfolio of projects or single Capital Project on behalf of the Senior Project Manager reporting to the Handover Team Leader; recommending improvements in accordance with the company’s Security, Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health management arrangements and all applicable legislation.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE HANDOVER MANAGER        

  • Experience managing a programmes/portfolio of projects or a single major project in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience reporting and providing status reporting and resource forecasting against project programmes/portfolios.
  • Experience communicating to a variety of programmes/portfolio stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Management with internal/external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Project manager toolkit
  • Has worked delivering projects in a highly regulated sector. Nuclear, Oil, Gas for example.
  • Has Project Management knowledge at Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager level for the delivering side of projects.
  • Scheduling and forecasting.
  • Understands Project Management frameworks, eg APM, and agile delivery model.
  • Previously responsible for a project within the handover phase
  • Leadership experience
