We are currently recruiting for a Floor Trainer to join our Team located at our Heywood depot.
Shift available: Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30 (flexibility to work other shift patterns when needed).
Salary: £15.58 per hour. Paid Weekly.
As a floor trainer you will support and assist the depot with training deliverance and proactive monitoring of compliance and safety performance post training. You will ensure that all training functions/Procedures/Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance are adhered to as required by the Company.
It will be important to constantly review the company H&S and Working Procedures are followed specific to each role and to maintain a working relationship with all colleagues ensuring that the training which is delivered is consistently complied with.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Ensure the effective deliverance of MHE Training to employees on site.
Support the Training manager to ensure all functions and company procedures are followed by all, and that staff are adequately and suitably trained.
Ensure the effective deliverance of the site induction and relevant job role training to new employees on site.
Champion pro-active approach in improving systems and training through communications to Team Leaders/Managers and other departments.
Ensure documentation control and site-based training is adequate to meet the standards required to maintain the quality accreditations of our customer base.
Integral to support Health and Safety culture drive across the site to protect you and the staff around you.
Ensure the effective deliverance of Health & Safety Training to employees on site.
Confirm all PPE equipment remains fit for purpose, advising replacement of anything substandard.
Ensure training needs and paperwork is completed as recommended by the Company and all records are filed and stored as requested.
What are we looking for?
Someone with experience of delivering training and coaching.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lead discussions and make/deliver presentations.
An accredited MHE instructor qualification (CAT1 or above).
Ability to work in temperatures as low as - 25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 37 Celsius in dry storage sites for some training requirements while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Someone who is willing to travel to our other depots, as and when needed.
