Job Description

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for the next step in your career? Are you accustomed to working closely with operational teams to produce reports and commercial KPI's? Do you enjoying engaging in customer meetings to help identify commercial efficiencies?


We're currently on the search for a Finance Manager to join our Primark warehouse and logistics team at our site in Lutterworth. You'll ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the weekly and monthly management accounts for the Primark open book contract in Lutterworth.


This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Financial control and reporting for site and customer, working closely with the operational management team

  • Creation and maintenance of rolling forecasts and budgets

  • Focus on cost control and investigation/analysis of forecast and budget variances

  • Providing detailed analysis to the customer and the provision of monthly reporting packs, together with backing documents to support the financial charges


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally with exposure to an open book contract environment

  • Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers

  • Experienced in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Sage / Lucanet / Blackline systems
