To be successful in the role you will achieve the following: Policy changes - support and implementation Support the delivery and management of the Mobile Phone & Distraction Policy Store risk + re-risk assessments for safe deliveries. Accident investigation support for Health & Safety and RSC management. Operational risk assessments + SSOW (safe ways of working ) Safety week activities successfully delivered across Transport and Transport Admin Support weekly audits Support Hazard and Near Miss Card investigations Identify areas of improvement and deliver via safety briefs, toolbox talks etc. All refresher training is completed to the Group standard and fully documented All drivers complete a documented annual assessment and any required training needs are actioned Annual CPC training is completed in line with the network business plan and legal requirements Completed and documented on colleague training file/matrix Full training given to all colleagues and Team Managers are supported in delivering the agreed minimum standard All class 2 drivers are fully assessed and prepared for formal LGV class 1 examination All in house driver trainees are fully assessed and prepared for formal LGV examination New in house trained drivers are fully supported and mentored post examination with regular trainer feedback sessions |
