Job Description

An unmissable opportunity as arisen here at Driver Hire Southampton for Class 2 Skip drivers. Our client specifically specialises in the recycling industry and is looking for an individual who is willing to learn and has a positive can do' attitude towards work.

What you need to know:

  • 12-week temp to perm

  • 6:30am start (around 10-12-hour days)

  • Monday to Fridays- no weekends

  • Your role will be to deliver, collect and exchange skips in the Southampton area

  • Training provided by our client


Important requirements from our Class 2 Drivers:

  • Full UK Class 2 licence

  • Up to date CPC and Digital Tacho card

  • At least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle

  • Previous experience in skip role is preferred

  • Own transport to commute to and from work is essential

  • Great time keeping and customer service skills

  • Provide outstanding customer service

  • Complete deliveries in a timely manner
