HGV Class 2 Drivers - Flexible Driving Opportunities

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is looking to register experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a variety of driving assignments with clients across West Lothian.
Looking for work that fits around your existing commitments? Whether you want the occasional shift or are looking for regular part-time work, we can offer a range of opportunities depending on your availability.
The Work
Assignments can vary depending on the client and may include:
- Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries
- General haulage and pallet network work
- A-B vehicle movements
- Deliveries of steel, office furniture, food & drink and construction materials
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Daily vehicle checks
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Following transport, compliance and health & safety procedures
You'll have the opportunity to work with different clients, vehicles, routes and types of driving work, keeping things varied from shift to shift.
What You'll Need
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points - minor offences only
- No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and transport legislation
- Reliable and professional approach
- Flexible attitude towards different types of work
- Good communication and customer service skills
Pay Rates
PAYE Basic: £14.50 per hour + holiday pay accrued
PAYE Advanced: £16.25 per hour
