HGV Class 2 Driver
Based in Bradford| £16 per hour Overtime available | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available
We're currently recruiting for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy transport team delivering furniture across the UK . This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that includes regular nights out and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy
Loading and unloading goods, ensuring everything is safely secured
Providing excellent customer service during every delivery
- Monday to Friday
Tramping 2-3 nights per week - £26 night-out allowance paid per night
Driving in accordance with UK road laws and EU driver hours regulations
Handling and submitting fuel/expense receipts in line with company policy
Requirements:
Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence at least 1 year experience
Valid CPC card with at least 1 year remaining
Experience using tail lifts, ratchet straps, and manual handling equipment
Good knowledge of UK geography
Understanding of EU driver hours and tachograph regulations
Professional, polite, and safety-conscious attitude
Physically fit - some heavy lifting involved
What's on Offer:
£16.00 per hour £21 per hour after 8 hours- paid weekly
£25 night-out allowance per night when tramping
Monday to Friday work (early finish Friday)
