Class 2 Driver – Waste Collection
£16.00 per hour | Milton Keynes MK6 | Monday-Friday | Temp to Perm
Smart Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste management operation in Milton Keynes.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for stable Monday-Friday work, weekly pay and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Role
You will drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle, working alongside loaders to collect waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area.
Duties include:
- Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle
- Collecting and emptying bins
- Working alongside loaders
- Manually moving wheelie bins when required
- Following allocated daily routes
- Carrying out vehicle checks
- Working safely around pedestrians, vehicles and members of the public
- Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 licence experience
- 90 days of recent Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous waste/refuse or trade waste experience
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with early starts and outdoor work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay & Hours
£16.00 per hour
Monday-Friday
Choose from:
- 4:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
- 5:00am – 2:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Weekly pay every Friday
Immediate start available
