Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 driver to join our shared user team in Rotherham. The role will include multidrop routes.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Completing pre-use vehicle check daily.
- Accurately completing any transport related paperwork
- Responsible for the accurate, timely movement of multi drop deliveries to our customers.
- Providing excellent face to face customer service to customers
- Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
- A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business
- Support operational tasks as required.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving license with category Class 2 entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is essential
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
- The successful applicant will be required to complete and pass a driving assessment before an offer of employment is made.
