Class 2 Driver

Location: Nottingham
Pay: £17.75 per hour (Agency) | Overtime Paid Daily
Start Times: Between 4:00am and 10:00am

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading linen distribution company, delivering and collecting linen from commercial customers across the Midlands.

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections of commercial linen


• Delivering excellent customer service at customer premises


• Loading and unloading your vehicle (some heavy lifting is involved)


• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks


• Working in line with tachograph rules and drivers' hours regulations

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence


• Have held your Class 2 licence and been driving professionally for at least 12 months


• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification


• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card


• Have a good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph legislation


• Have the right to work in the UK


• Be willing to undergo regular drug and alcohol testing in line with company policy

Working Hours

• Various start times available between 4:00am and 10:00am


• Weekend work is required


• The operation runs 7 days a week


• Once taken on permanently, you will work on a rota basis

Pay & Benefits
