Driver Hire Grangemouth is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established and respected timber distribution company.
This is a fantastic 12-week Temp-to-Perm opportunity offering weekly pay from day one, regular overtime, paid overnight stays, and the chance to secure a permanent position with excellent benefits.

What You'll Earn
During Your 12-Week Temporary Period
£16.25 per hour (Advanced Holiday Pay) OR £14.50 per hour (Holiday Pay Accrued) - overtime available

The Role
You'll be delivering timber and sheet materials to customers across the region, representing the business with a professional attitude while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Delivering timber and building materials to commercial and trade customers.
- Safely securing loads and carrying out vehicle safety checks.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
- Occasional paid overnight stays.
- Assisting in the yard when required.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 2 years' experience
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 2 driving experience (timber or building materials experience is advantageous but not essential)
A positive, reliable and professional attitude
Comfortable with manual handling
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
