About the Role
Driver Hire Blackburn is recruiting an experienced
Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver for a well-established pallet distribution company based in
Accrington.
This is a
local multi-drop role delivering palletised goods across PR, FY, BL and BB postcode areas. Ideal for drivers who enjoy structured day work and consistent routes.
Key Duties
- Multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections (average 12-20 drops per day)
- 07:30 starts with live loading at the depot
- Most deliveries FLT-offloaded
- Occasional use of electric pallet truck to move pallets to tail lift
- Safe and efficient vehicle operation
- Completion of paperwork and PODs
- Compliance with all DVSA, WTD and road safety regulations

What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Proven multi-drop delivery experience (essential)
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of PR, FY, BL & BB postcode areas (preferred)
