Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Tipper and Cement Mixer Driver to support our clients in the construction, aggregates, and waste sectors.
Requirements:
Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
Experience with Tipper or Mixer vehicles preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate).
Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
Job Details:
Start times: Typically between 05:00 and 07:00 AM.
Shift length: Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed).
Pay rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.
Ongoing and ad-hoc work available with local and regional clients.
Key Attributes:
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.
Good understanding of driver hours and vehicle checks.
Experience in the construction or aggregates sector is beneficial.
Able to adapt to different sites and customer requirements.
