Class 2 ADR Driver

We have an amazing opportunity for an HGV Category C ADR driver, who has previously worked as an HGV delivery driver, the role would be perfect for someone who is looking for a career change within the logistics industry.

We are seeking an HGV Class 2 ADR driver for our client in Oxford, this is a winter contract position - Whilst working through Driver Hire the hourly pay rate is £18.04 per hour PAYE Adv

Requirements

HGV Class 2 Licence Required
Valid up to date ADR licence (Category 2 in packages)
Up to date and valid Digi Card & Driver Qualification Card
Must have relevant HGV driving experience

Job Role

Your job role as an HGV Class 2 ADR driver will be to ensure that customers are served in an efficient and professional manner. The role involves delivering a variety of gases, to domestic and commercial establishments, answering the telephone and completing documents through the companies systems. Our client is looking for a motivated, engaged and committed driver who can take ownership of their areas, look after customers and becoming the regular, recognisable and friendly face of the company. Becoming an HGV Class 2 ADR driver for our client means more than simply getting from A to B. You will ensure that their products are delivered safely and provide a reliable, friendly and helpful service to their customers. This role involves manual handling duties and can be heavy work

This opportunity could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate, if you are not interested in a permanent position our client is happy for you to do this role on a temporary contract basis for their busy winter period, depending on what suits you, we pay weekly via bacs payment.

What we offer

Hours of work are: 5 days per week - Monday to Friday (0630 to 1700/1800 hours)
During peak you will be required to work every other Saturday (0630 to 1500 hours)
Min hours each week 40.00 hours a week, (hourly pay £18.04 PAYE Adv) overtime paid at time + half after working 42.50 hours
