We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our GXO team based at Wellingborough. You will be working an average of 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the start times between 04:00 - 06:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:

 

  • Delivering palletised goods to customer locations across the UK
  • Loading and unloading via the curtains or loading bay (you may occasionally need to move pallets with a pump truck)
  • Always ensuring the safe and legal operation of your vehicle, guaranteeing the vehicle has been loaded correctly prior to leaving site
  • Reporting any issues regarding delivery or vehicle/trailer defects to the transport office

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
