Here at GXO South Normanton we're looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our team. You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday with start times from 04:00am

What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Safely and efficiently transport goods and materials from one location to another during shift
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
  • Adhere to all relevant legislation and company policies pertaining to driving, safety, and vehicle operation.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays, issues, or changes during journeys
  • Perform any other duties related to the role as required


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 7 penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
