Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for
HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) for our customers in the UB postcode area (Uxbridge/ Hayes/ Northolt/ Greenford/ West Drayton etc)
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS - SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED £19.00 to £22.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
- We are paying for minimum 8 hours a day
- Overtime is paid after 9 hours (breaks are not paid
- Weekly pay!
- On-going position for the right candidates

Requirements:
- Valid manual UK driving licence (CAT C+E) for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)
- Valid CPC and TACHO
- You must be over the age of 25 years - for insurance purposes
- At least 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience (references required)
- Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months
- Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
- Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
Type of shifts (depending on Company):
- A to B drops in and around M25, multi-drop (up to 3 drops)
- Movies/TV and Events
- Builders merchants and Scaffolding
- Insulation & Dry Lining
- Shifts are mainly during the week - Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
All-round Duties:
- Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
